Are Kansas taxes higher than other states?
Kansas ranked 25th in the nation in percentage of personal income paid in taxes, according to Kansas Tax Facts, which is produced by the Kansas Legislative Research Department. It ranked 27th in state and local collections as a percentage of personal income.
