I have a lot of new fabric, still on the bolt. Is there an organization that might be interested?

Douglas County Extension Services accepts donations such as fabric to use for community service projects. Members of the 4-H program can use the fabric to make clothing items to donate to shelters. Mark Flory, the 4-H agent for the services, said he enjoys receiving such donations, as it gives the young people a chance to sharpen their skills and help the community. If you are interested in donating, Flory said, call the 4-H office at 785-843-7058. The office hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. The Douglas County Extension Services office is located at 2110 Harper St.
