How long did Bob Yoos work for the city of Lawrence? Did he have any other jobs with the city besides solid waste superintendent?
Bob Yoos began his career with the city of Lawrence in 1991 as the solid waste superintendent, according to city spokeswoman Megan Gilliland. He held the same position for nearly 19 years; the title of the position was updated from superintendent to supervisor in the mid-1990s. When Yoos was hired, he stepped into a newly created position with the job function of overseeing the administration and operations of three sanitation divisions. He retired from the city on Jan. 15.
