If you can’t use twine or rope for bundled tree limbs, what else would the city consider a durable tie?
Megan Gilliland, communications manager for the city, said that for residential trash routes, the city’s Solid Waste Division collects tree limbs and brush bundled with a durable tie measuring no more than 5 feet in length and 18 inches in diameter and weighing no more than 65 pounds. Durable ties include heavy gauge wire, heavy twine or rope, and duct tape. Bundled brush should be set out by 7 a.m. on your assigned trash day.
