Why aren’t the Kansas tax forms at the Lawrence Public Library anymore? And where can I find one?

Due to budget shortfalls, the Kansas Department of Revenue is no longer providing paper copies of tax forms at libraries. Tax forms can be found and filed online at ksrevenue.org. If you want a paper copy or don’t have access to the Internet, you can obtain one by calling a voice-mail forms request line at 785-296-4937. It may already be too late to call, because the department said it takes two weeks for delivery. Taxes are due April 15. The processing time for tax returns not filed electronically is between 12 and 16 weeks.
