Can we opt out of the blue plastic bags the Journal-World comes in, or can the Journal-World recommend or provide a place for them to be recycled?
“It is the Lawrence Journal-World’s policy to deliver a dry, readable newspaper so we require our independent contractors to bag the newspaper every day,” said Chris Bell, Journal-World circulation director. If customers wish to recycle their bags, the Wal-Mart recycling center and the Lawrence Journal-World offices will accept them, he said.
