Does the new chancellor at KU have any children?
Chancellor Bernadette Gray-Little and her husband, Shade, have two adult children: Mark Little and Maura Garcia, according to Lynn Bretz, a university spokeswoman.
Mark earned a bachelor’s degree from Harvard and a Ph.D. in geochemistry from Rice University. Mark has just completed a post-doc at Duke University and has accepted a congressional science fellowship with the Geological Society of America in Washington, D.C.
Maura earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. She earned a master of fine arts degree from Howard University. A dancer and a choreographer, Maura also works as a Spanish language translator.
