Will the Douglas County “Cooking 101” class be offered again this year?
Through K-State Research & Extension in Douglas County, Extension Master Food volunteers will again offer “Cooking 101.” The class will meet from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesdays from Oct. 6 through Nov. 10 at the Douglas County 4-H Fairgrounds, Building 21, at 21st and Harper streets. The cost, which includes a cookbook, chef’s knife, food and cooking instruction, is $80 per person or $140 per couple. Class registration and payment will be accepted through Sept. 18 at the Extension office at the fairgrounds or online at oznet.ksu.edu/douglas.
