I read an item saying the Dallas Cowboys were the most valuable NFL franchise. Where did the Chiefs fall?
According to Forbes magazine, the Chiefs rank 14th among the 32 NFL teams in terms of value. Despite a dismal 2008 season, the team’s value increased 1 percent to $1 billion. By comparison, the Cowboys are worth $1.7 billion and the team at the bottom of the list, the Oakland Raiders, are worth $797 million. The full list can be found at forbes.com/nfl.
