When is the city’s big mulch sale they have every spring?
You missed it. The sale was April 2-4. But the city of Lawrence recently scheduled the fall sale. It will be from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 1, and Friday, Oct. 2, and from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3. The cost is $10 per truckload and free for self-loaders. The mulch can be picked up at 1420 E. 11th St.
