Can you eat the wild onions that grow naturally in your lawn or by the weeds? Are they poisonous?

The K-State Research and Extension Office-Douglas County, 2110 Harper St., confirms that the onions in your yard are edible as long as they have not been sprayed with lawn chemicals. If you have sprayed your lawn with chemicals, you will have to check the package of the particular chemical for safety guidelines.
