Why is Relay for Life moving to South Junior High School?

Betty Parks, spokeswoman for Relay for Life of Douglas County, said it couldn’t use the track at Free State High School because it was redone during the past year. “We researched Southwest Junior High School, but as we considered the amount of space needed with our increased numbers of participants, the South Junior High area seemed to fit our needs better. Being next to the park, we’ll have the additional space for overflow as needed.”
