Can people skinny dip or sunbathe in the nude in the privacy of their own fenced-in back yard, or would it be considered indecent exposure?

Lawrence city code defines indecent exposure as “any person who willfully exposes his or her person or private parts in any public place, or from any place which is reasonably calculated to be viewed from a public place,” said Kim Murphree, police spokeswoman. If you can’t be seen from a public place, you should be good to bare it all. Indecent exposure is a misdemeanor in Lawrence.
