Was the large snake reported at Haskell Indian Nations University ever captured?
“To my knowledge no large snakes have been captured,” said Deb Thompson, Haskell safety officer.
On May 21, Haskell biologist Chuck Haines said he spotted a “questionable” non-native viper, possibly a South American bushmaster, while responding to an anonymous tip that venomous snakes had been released on the campus.
