How does the new left lane law apply to highways like U.S. Highway 24-40, between Basehor and Tonganoxie, and Kansas Highway 10 just east of Lawrence, where there are left turns at the industrial park?

The state’s new Right Lane Law requires drivers to drive in the right lane unless they’re making a left turn or passing another vehicle, said Trooper Edna Buttler, Kansas Highway Patrol spokeswoman. It applies to all highways in the state that have two or more lanes and are outside city limits.
