I noticed a “for sale” sign on Vantuyl Auto Sales. Is it going out of business?
Owner Jim Vantuyl says he wants to sell the lot where he sells used cars and trucks at Sixth and Colorado streets, and get out of that aspect of the business. He wants to focus on his classic car business, across Sixth Street at 1711 W. Sixth St. He said that after the lot is sold, he will still take care of his old customers who are seeking a certain type of used car.
