In the KU-Michigan game at Allen Fieldhouse in the advertising areas above the exits, there was a message that said "Click it or ticket," promoting seatbelt use. Was that provided free as a public service announcement? If not, who paid for that? Were state funds used?
Jim Marchiony, associate athletic director, said, “That is a paid sponsorship and is part of a contract between IMG, the company that owns Kansas Athletics' multimedia and corporate-partner rights, and the state of Kansas Department of Transportation in Topeka.”
