How much is the state going to get from this new casino in Dodge City?

Under the state law that allowed the casino, the state gets 22 percent of gambling revenues. In the case of the Boot Hill casino in Dodge City, which opened in December, budget experts have predicted that the state will get $4.7 million during the current fiscal year, which ends June 30, and $8.3 million during the next fiscal year, which will be the first full fiscal year of operation.
