Does Kansas University (including the Medical Center/KU Hospital) have luxury suites for KU’s football games? If so, how much public money is paid to the KU athletic department for this “educational” function?

According to information from Jill Jess, a KU spokeswoman, the chancellor of the university, KU Alumni Association and KU Endowment, and the schools of Medicine, Business and Engineering chose to use suites this past season at Memorial Stadium for official entertaining on home football game days. Alumni and Endowment shared a suite, as did business and engineering. Donors, alumni and others are invited to attend and watch the football games from the suites. No public monies are used to pay KU Athletics for the use of the suites.
