How much has Kansas University tuition gone up in the last 10 years?
According to information from KU’s Office of Institutional Re-search and Planning, tuition and fees for a Kansas resident taking 15 hours of undergraduate classes was $2,518 for the 1999-2000 school year. That same semester of tuition and fees would cost $8,208 for an incoming freshman on KU’s four-year guaranteed tuition plan. All other students not on a guaranteed tuition plan — such as transfer students — would pay $7,414 per semester.
