We just moved to Lawrence. We can find recycling bins for paper and cardboard, but where are the bins for recycling plastic?
You can find several places in Lawrence that recycle plastic and more.
The Wal-Mart Community Recycling Center, 3300 Iowa, takes plastic, tin, aluminum, glass, newspaper, paper and cardboard.
The 12th & Haskell Recycle-Bargain Center, 1146 Haskell Ave., accepts aluminum, cans, cardboard, paper, plastic, newspapers, magazines and car batteries.
Lonnie's Recycling, 501 Maple St., will take metals, newspapers and car batteries.
Also, several businesses offer a curbside recycling service. For more information, go to lawrencerecycles.org or call 832-3030.
