Are you supposed to show a photo identification or voter registration to vote? I was only asked my name.

First-time Douglas County voters are required to show identification between the time they register and they cast a ballot, said Douglas County Clerk Jamie Shew. If a first-time voter does not have identification at the polls, they will cast a provisional ballot. The voter then has until the election canvassing to bring his or her identification to the courthouse, 1100 Mass., to ensure that the provisional ballot will count.
