What happened to the peonies on the north side of the Castle Tea Room?

The peonies have been taken up and are being saved, according to Jim Meadows, a member of the Libuse Kriz-Fiorito Historical Foundation Board of Directors. The old house, built in 1893-1894 at 1307 Mass., is being restored and updated. When the work is finished, the peonies will be replanted, Meadows said. Work on the house should be finished by Christmas, he said.
