Will there be another recycling center at the new Wal-Mart?
No, the new Wal-Mart to be built at the northwest corner of Sixth Street and Wakarusa Drive will not have a recycling center. Angie Stoner, a Wal-Mart spokeswoman, said the Recycle Center at the Wal-Mart at 3300 Iowa "actually is the only one we have in the entire country." But enlarging the original Recycle Center there made sense, Stoner said, and therefore was included in a recent expansion of the existing store. "We knew it was important for the community, and a good fit for this area," she said.
