Sound Off

I have an office buddy who smokes. I was told he has a right to smoke. I want to know what are my rights as a nonsmoker?

In 2004, Lawrence passed a smoking ordinance that restricts smoking in public places and places of employment. According to the ordinance, smoking is prohibited without exception in all enclosed areas within a place of employment. These areas include common work offices, elevators, hallways, company-owned vehicles, lounges, stairs and restrooms.
