What's the significance of Darnell Jackson thumping his chest three times every time he makes a basket?
Kansas University basketball player Darnell Jackson has said the heart thumping was a personal message to three people: His grandmother, his mother and Don Davis, who has been a father figure. "I do it to let 'em know I love them," Jackson said. "If they are watching the game, they know they are in my heart."
