My mother is 84 and my father is 92. They live in a place where they have to walk to the middle of the block to get their mail. They are no longer able to do this. Can their mail be delivered to their door?

Yes. Lawrence Postmaster Judy Raney says your parents need to fill out a hardship delivery form. It’s for people who aren’t physically able to go to a central mail box location or even to a curbside mailbox. The forms can be picked up at the post office or can be mailed to you if you call the post office, 843-1681, and ask for them.
