What's the status on the cleanup of Potter Lake?
John Kenny, the Kansas University student who is leading the cleanup effort with KU student England Porter, said it will be several years before anything really visible takes place at the lake. Kansas Biological Survey is studying water and sediment quality. Kenny said the biological makeup of the lake is so complex they have to collect large amounts of data before they can actually begin reversing any damage.
