How long does it normally take to see a letter to the editor in print when it has been submitted online?

Letters submitted online often are published within two or three days, said Ann Gardner, Journal-World editorial page editor, but they can take longer if they are submitted on the weekend or if there is a delay in them being confirmed by telephone. Gardner added that letter writers always are welcome to inquire about the status of their letters by phone, 832-7153, or e-mail if they believe there has been an undue delay.
