Do students get a discount on Lawrence buses?
All students in Lawrence are eligible for reduced fare on the T, including K-12, Haskell Indian Nations University and Kansas University students with proper identification. Students with a valid student ID are eligible to pay the reduced fare - 35 cents through the end of the year and 50 cents starting Jan. 1. For those who purchase a KU on Wheels bus pass, a T sticker can be added, providing unlimited access to the Lawrence Transit System. A regular fair is 75 cents. Only K-9 students won't be required to show proof of age to qualify for the reduced fare. Find more information at www.lawrencetransit.org/fares.shtml.
