Sound Off

I just read about the Rotary Arboretum Run. How long is the trail that was used for the run? And how big is the arboretum in acres, and what is in it?

The Lawrence Rotary Arboretum, 5100 W. 27th St., is 15 acres. The arboretum has several ponds, trees, shrubs, plants, park benches and a gazebo. Don Duncan, Lawrence Rotary, estimates the fun run that was part of the Experience the Rotary Arboretum Day on Sept. 29, from the arboretum parking lot to the top of Sanders mound and back, was about 4 miles.
