What are they going to do with all the equipment that is in the old South Junior High School that is going to be demolished, such as their leftover chairs, tables, computer desks, computer chairs, file cabinets, book carts, things of that sort?
According to SJHS Principal Will Fernandez, about half of the furniture at the new school will be brand new. Fernandez said he has been looking through the school's existing inventory of desks, file cabinets, podiums and other school furniture to determine what should be kept and what should be discarded. "Anything still good we are trying to use," he said. He said the school district might use the rest of the furniture. If not, it will likely end up in the Dumpster.
