I know Greensburg has the world's largest hand-dug well. How big is it?
According to the official site of the well (www.bigwell.org), the well is 109 feet deep and 32 feet in diameter. It served as the city's water supply until 1932, when it was covered. It reopened as a tourist attraction in 1939. Media reports have said the well was covered in debris and the gift shop was destroyed by Friday's tornado.
