I was reading in the paper here that Baldwin City school district received a 100 percent in their spending efficiency. And I was wondering, Eudora district is getting ready to spend another $45 million on new schools and construction. What was their spending efficiency?
According to the Standard and Poor's Kansas School District Efficiency Study, the Eudora school district has an 89 percent relative efficiency score. According to the report, the relative efficiency score is compiled by examining the relationship between how much the district spends per student, how well students perform in reading and math, and how many of the district's students have special needs.
