It's been several weeks since the city replaced the curbs on my street and the resulting damage to the road has still not been fixed. How long does it usually take the city to come back and fix the roads?
Dena Mezger, assistant public works director for the city, said city crews would usually repair streets quickly after replacing curbs. But in areas where the city has begun curb and gutter replacement programs, crews sometimes take two to three weeks before returning to repair the street. In these cases, the crews replace all the curbs in an area, then repair all the streets.
