I read that the Pine's Fireworks stand is going out of business after 60 years and I just wondered why they reached the decision to stop their fireworks business after all that time?

Jim Pine, who runs the stand with his brother Jerry, mentioned several reasons for the stand shutting down after this year. First, he said that he and his brother hoped to pass the stand to their children, but they were too busy and could not handle the extra load. Also, he said he and his brother were tired of dealing with city and county regulations on the sale of fireworks, the unpredictable weather conditions and fireworks demand in the area. "It's just time to say goodbye," Pine said.
