With April 15 being a Sunday, what day are my taxes due?

According to the Internal Revenue Service, taxes aren't due until April 17 this year. While all IRS forms and instructions list a due date of April 16, there is a revised due date because April 16 is the Emancipation Day holiday in the District of Columbia. Accordingly, people have two extra days before taxes must be paid. Your Kansas income taxes are also due April 17. Other states may have their own deadlines.
