I was wondering why there is not a grocery store in North Lawrence. There are a lot of disabled over in North Lawrence that have to come clear to Sixth Street or Massachusetts Street or go clear to Checkers. Can you find out why they cannot put a grocery store in North Lawrence?

Anybody is free to put in a grocery store in North Lawrence. There are no city ordinances prohibiting it. Grocery store representatives previously have said that the population numbers in North Lawrence don't yet suggest that a modern grocery store would be financially viable.
