How much is KU paying for its new subscription to that plagiarism detection program, Turnitin.com?

KU has signed on for a two-year contract costing $28,000, KU spokeswoman Lynn Bretz said. KU officials alarmed faculty and lecturers earlier this semester when word spread that the university would not renew its subscription, citing cost and copyright concerns. KU later negotiated with Turnitin.com and renewed its subscription.
