Is it true that KU students have to vacate their dorms on the last day of finals?
The last final ended about 4 p.m. May 19, and the residence halls closed at 11 p.m. the same day, said Jennifer Wamelink, interim associate director for residence life. The scholarship halls closed at noon May 20, a bit later than the residence halls because of the extra cleaning responsibilities in the scholarship halls, Wamelink said. And those who chose not to stay in apartments through the summer had to leave by 9 p.m. May 23.
