My birthday is Aug. 1. I turn 18 on that day, and on that same day this year's primary election will be held. Will I be able to vote on that day in that election? If I can, what do I need to do to register?

Yes, you are eligible if registered, according to the Kansas Secretary of State's Office. The last day to register for the Aug. 1 primary is July 17. Registration forms are available at the post office, courthouse and on the Secretary of State's Web site at www.kssos.org/elections/elections_registration.html.
