What year were the information traffic booths at Kansas University built?
According to KU, five information traffic booths were put into service on campus on July 15, 1962. The booths were built and installed at a cost of $34,000. The fifth booth, at 14th Street and Jayhawk Blvd., was later removed and replaced by a gate. Because of construction of the Docking Gateway, the booth at 13th Street and Oread is being rebuilt at the 14th Street location.
