Will the expanded Wal-Mart (the south store) have a fuel station? They were considering including one in their early expansion plans.

Gasoline won't be sold anytime soon at Wal-Mart, which is preparing to open a grocery section, hair salon and other expanded features next month at 3300 Iowa. "We haven't arrived at a decision whether or not we're going forward with the gas station portion of that site," said Kevin Gardner, a Wal-Mart spokesman. "We're still evaluating that." A "concept fuel station" - with eight pumps and a small pay station - appeared on the expansion project's site plan as early as January 2005, but the station was removed during a subsequent revision and no longer appears on the latest plan on file at City Hall, said Brian Jimenez, the city's zoning enforcement manager.
