When is Earth Day?
Earth Day is April 22. Lawrence's annual Parade for the Earth will begin at 11 a.m. that day at Watson Park. Registration and admission is free. The parade will travel south down Massachusetts Street to South Park.
For vehicles and large groups who want to ride in the parade, send an e-mail to ParadeForTheEarth@LawrenceKS.org or call 832-3006. After the parade, the Celebration at the Park will include live music, games, food and other activities. All rides on the T of the Lawrence Transit System will be free on Earth Day.
