Whatever happened to Waves of Relief and its attempt to help victims of the tsunami in Thailand?

Because of the massive damage caused by Hurricane Katrina, Waves of Relief has for now switched its focus. The organization, founded by Lawrence businessman Tom Van Holt, is taking supplies to victims in Louisiana. Van Holt left with a truckload of supplies last week. He said he hopes to eventually return to his idea of helping the Thais.
