I'm interested in the fact that Brandon Rush attended four different high schools and wondered what information you might have on that.

Brandon Rush did indeed attend four high schools. They are, in order: Kansas City Hogan Prep, K.C. Career Academy, K.C. Westport High and Mount Zion Academy in Durham, N.C.

Published reports indicate he was academically ineligible as a freshman, first at Hogan Prep and then at Career Academy. A transfer rule kept him from playing at the beginning of his sophomore year at Westport High. He joined the team midway through the 2001-02 season, helping the team to a state tournament appearance, the school's first in more than 25 years.

He led Westport to a 14-3 record the next season before running into academic problems, electing to transfer to Mount Zion.
