I would like to know if the city approves the cell phone ban, is it planning to post a notice of the ordinances at every entrance to the city? If not, how are they going to alert drivers coming into the city?
City Manager Mike Wildgen said enforcement issues haven't yet been decided because the ban has not yet been approved by the Traffic Safety Commission. The ban also would have to be approved by the city commissioners. But Wildgen said the city has several ordinances that affect visitors, such as dog tethering, that aren't posted at the city limits.
