Though the Kansas Jayhawks have been playing great defense this season, their offense has really struggled. They've scored a total of six points in their last two games - a 12-3 loss at Kansas State and a 19-3 defeat to Oklahoma on Saturday at Arrowhead Stadium. When was the last time the team suffered this kind of dry spell on offense?

In 1997, in their first season under former head coach Terry Allen, the Jayhawks combined to score six points in losses at Colorado (42-6) and at home against Nebraska (35-0). The following week, in a Homecoming contest against visiting Iowa State, Kansas stopped the Cyclones 34-24.
