Please name the judge that decided in favor of the Kansas University professor on the speeding ticket.

It was Douglas County District Court Judge Robert Fairchild who decided Zamir Bavel's speeding ticket case. Bavel first fought the ticket in Municipal Court and after losing there appealed his case to District Court. He argued that Lawrence Police weren't adequately trained to use radar guns. But the prosecutor said the city lost the case because the officer who issued the ticket couldn't remember some details of the traffic stop, which occurred more than a year before the District Court decision.
