In his June 15 op-ed piece, Kris Kobach uses the term "krytocracy" - rule by unelected judges. I went to two dictionaries, and neither of them have the term krytocracy or any word near that. I wondered if you could get him to explain what that word means and where he found it?

In an e-mail response, Kobach explained: "Krytocracy is one of those words that is too obscure to be included in most printed dictionaries, but is nonetheless included in many electronic dictionaries and encyclopedias. Try Googling the word, and you will get dozens of entries. Here's one from nationmaster.com: 'A Krytocracy is a government ruled by judges.'"
